This Course is about taking charge of the crises we face in life – those life-altering situations that so often throw us completely off course – by learning to move through them as a true rite of passage to a new stage of our existence.
You will also work with the teachings of the Great Rainbow to help you move through these crises with confidence and courage as you take control of your life even when you can’t control the circumstances around you.
• You will take a good look at the role that fear plays in your life and how to heal your relationship with it. Fear is a natural reaction to a life-threatening, or what we perceive to be a life-threatening, challenge, and it is a powerful force. When you do not learn how to move beyond that fear, however, it becomes one of the most destructive forces in the entire universe. Yet it remains the one thing over which you can have absolute control because it comes from within your own self. It is time for all of us to heal our relationship with fear now.
• You will also look at boundaries from the perspective of how to set and enforce boundaries that work for you in a positive way; how to push up against the boundaries set by the world in an effective and constructive way; and when to take another path.
This is what it means to stand at the crossroads of power and choose transformation and abundance with conscious intent and awareness.
The Teachings of the Great Rainbow:

Like rites of passage, a rainbow is a bridge. It is a bridge between the major passages of your life and it holds great wisdom for you if you will become aware and receptive as you go through life’s inevitable transitions.
The Rainbow teaches you how to stand at the crossroads of upheaval and choose your own pathway as the storm clouds begin to intensify. What does it mean as it starts to rain harder and the winds become very strong? Storms happen in the physical realm. Do you take them personally and allow them to paralyze you? Why? Does this really serve you well?
Instead, you take cover. Where do you take cover? What have you learned from the previous passages of your life about when and how you can take cover in a healthy way?
You see something coming and at first you are terrified. Then you remember who you are. You remember what you have learned about your life. A storm is coming, so you go inside and close the doors and windows. In the process of doing this, what happens for you? Each person is different.
The hail comes. The storm cloud is very large. Perhaps you lose your roof. So you repair it.
Or you lose your electricity. What is the electricity in your life? Do you say to yourself, "I’m too old to change my life?" "I’m too overwhelmed to move forward in my life?" That’s the process of losing electricity in the storm. The big power poles are falling down. What are you going to do about it?
If you are off the grid, you get a new generator. You call for help. You call for help through Great Spirit to bring new energy back, put the poles back up. Perhaps your wires are frayed. So? You need to fix them, right?
When you work with the teachings of the Rainbow and the seasons of your soul, you learn how to go within, to the place where you are One with the Great Spirit and all of life, to your shaman center. This is the place of your greatest power and personal truth, and it is where you go to discover what it is that you need to change in order to weather the storm in a positive, life-affirming way. As you discover your own truth and power in the situation and begin to make the changes you need to make, the storm clouds begin to lift. You realize that the storm is going to come back at some point, in one way or another. Storms happen in the physical realm. The next time it comes back, however, you’ve already repaired your roof and the rain no longer affects you. It simply waters your garden.
This is how you reinvent yourself, by replacing a faulty structure with new insights born from wisdom, experience and a strong relationship with the Great Spirit and the energies of all of life as they flow throughout the universe. What is it that you have to rebuild? Your body? Your emotions? Your perception of your world and your ability to influence your life in positive ways no matter what the situation? What new information and skills do you need to gather in order to take charge and more towards your greatest dreams in life? Do you need to get rid of old bad habits born of fear and frustration, feelings of helplessness or victimization? You are not a victim. Don’t act like one. Instead, repair whatever the storms of upheaval have stirred up within you with greater strength and understanding. You repair your attitude. You repair your point of view. You repair your relationship with life and all its many storms. You choose transformation and abundance with conscious intent.
